Davis eyes up Premier move

He's currently the star of the show in Scotland. An odds-on certainty to win this year’s Scottish Premier League Player of the Year award.

Northern Ireland midfielder Steven Davis is the midfield magician Rangers simply can’t do without.

He is crucial to their assault on a domestic treble this season.

Man of the Match performances and vital goals at critical times have helped Rangers into a huge lead over Celtic in the title race, to a League Cup final and steady progression in the Scottish Cup.

Losing the flame haired playmaker is unthinkable for the Ibrox club.

Not even the prospect of making a mint in the January transfer window could force the cash strapped SPL champions to sell their prized asset.

But Rangers and Scottish football will not be able to hang on to their Cullybackey-born star forever.

For Davis, who played in the disastrous defeat to Albania in Tirana on Wednesday night, has revealed to Sunday Life he wants another crack at the Premiership.
