Dublin have a long way to go

It is often said that the early bird catches the worm. And it’s certainly no different within the GAA.

But who wants to catch a worm when an elephant-sized prize is up for grabs further along the line?

I remain unconvinced that the form being shown by Dublin in particular at the moment suggests that they must be treated as serious contenders for the All-Ireland title.

Certainly, they are in a strong position to go on and win the National League crown — but the All-Ireland? No, I don’t think so.
