Early Bath for Ulster

Coach Brian McLaughlin wants his team Ulster to be more clinical in taking their scoring chances when they travel to London to face Harlequins on Saturday in the second of their three pre-season friendlies.

McLaughlin wasn’t downbeat, however, as Ulster began the new campaign with a defeat by Bath at Ravenhill, with the visitors scoring four tries to the home side's two.

“Bath were a game ahead of us and they showed us a lot of respect by coming over with a full strength team,” said McLaughlin.
