Funeral for Downpatrick mum Louise Baker who has died aged 28
The funeral has taken place of young Northern Ireland mum Louise Baker, who died suddenly last week.
Requiem Mass took place at St Patrick's Church, in Downpatrick, for the keen gaelic footballer who died last Thursday night after falling ill on Valentine's Day.
The 28-year-old mother-of-one was taken to the Ulster Hospital, where she was admitted to the intensive care unit.
In a heartfelt post, Russell Gaelic Union in Downpatrick said: "The family that is RGU are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of our highly esteemed senior player, Louise Baker.
"Louise was a very much loved and popular member of our senior team and a key player in the recent rise in fortunes of ladies football in Downpatrick."
A talented sportswoman, Louise, who worked in Supervalu, also played football for Downpatrick FC.
As a mark of respect, the football club postponed all club activity over the weekend.

Northern Ireland Women's Football Association described Louise as "a great person and footballer", while Bangor Ladies Football Club fondly remember "many a battle shared on the football pitch".
She is survived by her partner Peter, daughter Rebecca, parents Michael and Lorraine and siblings Conor, Kelly-Marie, Lisa, Ryan and Liam.
