Glens have four-ce

Glentoran pulled four points clear at the top of the Carling Premiership thanks to a 1-0 win over Glenavon at Mourneview Park yesterday.

Ciaran Martyn bagged the only goal of the game, stretching the Glens' lead at the summit ahead of the Lurgan Blues, while Cliftonville are up to third after a 1-1 draw at Ballymena.

Dungannon Swifts and Lisburn Distillery played out an entertaining 2-2 draw, Newry City defeated Donegal Celtic 2-1 but Coleraine's woes continued with a 2-0 loss away to Portadown which means they remain without a point or even a goal in six matches this season.
