Ian's Hutch of class!

Yesterday's Superbike TT may have been fog-delayed by three and a half hours, but Bingley man Ian Hutchinson on the Padgetts Honda eventually triumphed after six laps and two hours of high-powered drama in the opening race of TT2010.

Ballymoney’s Michael Dunlop continued to impress with a superb second place on his Robinson Concrete Honda just ahead of Aussie Cameron Donald, who fought back from outside the top 10 on the opening lap to take the final podium spot on his Relentless by TAS Suzuki.

Pre-race favourite, and current King of the Mountain, John McGuinness was the early leader at Glen Helen on his HM Plant Honda from Manxman Conor Cummins on the opening lap, but the 15-times TT winner was reported touring after only 20 miles of action, leaving the 23-year-old McAdoo Racing Kawasaki pilot to chase down, what he thought, would be his first TT victory.
