Glentoran boss Scott Young is targeting more than just victory when his side head to Iceland this week.

The rookie manager believes that the long trip north to take on KR Reykjavik could be the perfect way of raising team morale ahead of a massive season in the club's history.

The Glens have had a fraught summer with some players leaving — including Keith Gillespie who was released this week after failing to agree terms on a new deal — and others forced onto the transfer list due to crippling financial problems and Young has only been able to add Neil Gawley to his line-up.
