Mickey isn't losing Harte

Tyrone manager Mickey Harte has poured cold water on the theory that his defence for the Ulster Championship opener against Antrim later this month will be considerably weakened because of the absence of Conor Gormley and Ciaran Gourley.

While Harte acknowledges that the loss of two such experienced players is a blow, he believes that he has sufficient resources to bolster his rearguard for what is a re-run of last year’s Ulster final.

“The Ulster title race is regarded as being very open and that’s what makes the competition so fascinating. But you can take it from me that Tyrone will be particularly keen to emerge as champions,” asserts Harte.
