EDDIE Irvine partied with Bill Clinton at one of paedophile Jeffrey Epstein's parties, but he thought nothing of the former US president's presence at the bash.
The ex-Formula 1 racer said it was normal for the world's most influential figures to turn up at Epstein's lavish gatherings, which were always packed with models.
"I remember him being around - I saw all these people around," he added.
Clinton (73) is one of hundreds of rich and powerful people thrown into the spotlight over their links with the dead predator.;
There is no suggestion any of them, including Clinton, had any involvement in or knowledge of wrongdoing.
The case took a new twist after Epstein's alleged madam Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested.;
The 58-year-old (right), the daughter of the late disgraced press baron Robert Maxwell, is said to have recruited vulnerable teenagers into a global sex ring allegedly used by some of the most powerful men in the world.
She is awaiting trial on charges of trafficking girls as young as 14 and perjury.
If convicted, she could be jailed for 35 years.
As we exclusively revealed last week after interviewing Eddie in Italy, the ex-racer was "not surprised" to learn he was in Epstein's infamous book of contacts.
Among the details listed for him are two mobile phone numbers, two landline numbers in Ireland and the US, a personal home address and an email address.
They are on the same page as contact details for Rolling Stone Mick Jagger - one of 130 Britons in the notorious "little black book".
Eddie told us from his mansion in Milan he also saw Epstein and Maxwell with Virginia Giuffre, who claims the pair recruited her into their ring and repeatedly forced her to have sex with Prince Andrew when she was 17. The Duke of York strongly denied the claims.
"I had no idea about that, the providing of under-age girls," Eddie said.
"I remember seeing her (Virginia) around a few times, but I would have said she was 20 by that stage. I never saw young girls."
Epstein, who was found dead in his jail cell aged 66 last August after an apparent suicide, is said to have abused hundreds of girls on his private jet, nicknamed 'the Lolita Express', on his private Caribbean island in and his New York townhouse.
Giuffre previously claimed that when she asked Epstein why he was so close to the former US president, the pervert laughed and replied: "He owes me some favours."
Clinton has admitted he met Epstein on six occasions, including a "brief visit" to his New York home.
But flight logs suggest that he flew on Epstein's plane at least 26 times over a three year period.
Witnesses also claimed that they had seen him at dinners with Maxwell and Epstein.
Virginia and Steve Scully, who worked for Epstein, further claim they saw Clinton on the pervert's island.
Photos show the ex-president on the paedophile's jet during a 2002 trip to Africa.
He was also snapped smiling on the steps of the plane with his arm around Maxwell.
