Paddy's day for Gannon

A last gasp Paddy Jackson drop goal gave Dungannon a dramatic All-Ireland League victory over Lansdowne at Stevenson Park yesterday.

The sides looked set to share the spoils, when a sixth Eoin Hickey penalty levelled the contest for a third time, with two minutes remaining.

But Gannon’s enterprising play was rewarded with Jackson tapping over a deserving match-winning drop goal on the full time whistle. Gannon provided the greater scoring threat throughout the afternoon, with Conor Gaston, Craig Gilroy and Ali Birch leading their challenge superbly.
