Patterson's not kidding
Eddie Patterson has sent out an open invitation for all local football fans to come and watch the future of Cliftonville in action this afternoon.
Following the wipeout of yesterday's fixtures, Solitude officials will be working hard this morning to ensure the Reds' Co-operative Insurance Cup quarter-final survives the big freeze and Patterson is hoping neutrals from right across the Irish League spectrum will be tempted to the north Belfast venue for today's game.
“Anyone who's missed out on their weekend football fix can get it at Solitude,” he says.
