Perv in park sparks alert

Police were called after an angry mum spotted one of Northern Ireland’s most notorious child abusers hanging around a children’s playpark more than 100 miles from his home.

Furious mum-of-six Ann Johnston called the cops after she saw convicted child molester Robert Liddle at a playpark near Ballycastle on the Causeway coast — 103 miles miles from his home in Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh.

Police spoke to the pervert on Friday of last week and searched his vehicle after being called to the Silvercliffs Holiday Village and Caravan Park.

Sleazy Liddle, who is in his sixties, appeared at the coastal holiday site in his blue Mitsubishi jeep at approximately 4pm.

The PSNI has confirmed that a 62-year-old-man was spoken to and a vehicle and premises were searched.

Concerned mum Mrs Johnston, who comes from Liddle’s home village of Lisnaskea, said she watched in horror as the convicted child molester slowly circled the children’s play area — with toddlers and teenagers present.
