Rev: Knight has seen the light
A man of God has called on the world to give Greysteel killer Torrens Knight a break.
Rev William Porter, a retired Presbyterian minister, says he helped convert the ‘trick-or-treat' loyalist gunman to Christianity while he was in jail.
He claims evil Knight is a changed man, describing the thug's recent vicious assault on two sisters, for which he was jailed for 10 months, as a “lapse”.
“Like you or I, Torrens has made mistakes, but he is a changed man,” Rev Porter told Sunday Life when we called to his Moira home on Friday.
