Sinn Fein ex-minister Mairtin O'Muilleoir on driving charge
Leading Sinn Fein politician Mairtin O'Muilleoir will appear in court later this month on a driving charge.
He is accused of breaching a road sign on Kennedy Way in west Belfast. After being stopped by police on May 16 he was told to produce his driving documents for examination within seven days at his local PSNI station.
However, prosecutors say he did not show leading to him also being charged with failing to produce a driving licence. The case was briefly mentioned at Belfast Magistrates' Court last Tuesday before being adjourned until November 27.
His brush with the law has been described as "embarrassing" by Sinn Fein sources.
