Patience is a virtue — and Tyrone are having to exercise it in spades right now.

Two weeks ago they were due to go into action play in the Barrett Sports Lighting Dr McKenna Cup but so far the Ulster champions have yet to kick a ball in the competition.

However, the waiting should end for the Red Hands today when they finally sample their first taste of action in 2011 against McKenna Cup holders reigning champions Donegal at Healy Park, Omagh.
