A suspended prison officer who was caught holding hands with a notorious sex killer has told her furious bosses that they are just good friends.
Ruth Oliver, 45, says her relationship with murderer and rapist Ken Callaghan was “entirely platonic” and has denied that it went any further.
The pony-tailed warden's cosy relationship with inmate Callaghan, 44, was exposed by Sunday Life when we caught her holding hands with the killer in a Tesco store in Belfast during one of his regular days out from the Prisoner Assessment Unit where Oliver worked as a jailer.
