Nedum Onuoha
The race for Manchester City's £4 million-rated defender has hotted up in recent weeks, with rumours a foot that David Moyes may be looking to cut a deal with Mancini. With a host of new faces bound for Eastlands this summer, the England under-21 star looks destined to be squeezed out of the squad. Sunderland have reportedly already put in a bid for Onuoha, and the likes of Aston Villa and Newcastle also said to be interested. The grapevine suggests Mancini plans to discuss Onuoha's future with him soon, and Moyes is said to be ready to pounce once he gets the nod from either City or the player.

Jan Vertonghen
Everton are reportedly competing with Merseyside rivals Liverpool to sign the Ajax centre-back. It's believed the Belgian international carries a price tag nearing £11 million.

Steven Taylor
With apparent competition from Barcelona, Liverpool and Arsenal, Everton will do well to secure this Newcastle defender's future. Having become frustrated with his newly promoted club's apparent lack of ambition, the question mark will land on whether or not the 24-year-old will want to risk making the huge leap to top-flight Spanish football, or whether he'll opt for the chance to gain more experience with an ambitious Premier League side.

Javier Pinola
Several pundits have reported that the Goodison boss has been tracking Pinola in a bid to strengthen his defence ahead of their challenge for a top-6 spot in the up coming season. The Nuremberg left-back might be a good bet for The Toffees as he has himself hinted as a move to the Premiership

Paul Scharner
Confirmed as leaving Wigan this summer, it's anybody's guess where Scharner will end up, although The Toffees have emerged as the latest front-runners to secure the Austrian's signature. Back in January the then Fulham manager Roy Hodgson was supposedly preparing a £3 million bid for the midfielder, but as he's now moved on to take charge of Liverpool Fulham's interest may well have waned. Moyes will certainly be looking to bolster his midfield, so a move to Goodison Park could well be on the cards.

Graham Dorrans
A move to a club of Everton's stature could prove a good career move for the 23-year-old West Brom midfielder, and Moyes may well be confident given his track record of securing talent from the lower echelons of football (think Lescott and Cahill). The current price being bandied about is around the £6 million mark - a potential steal for this tenacious Scot.

Steven Ireland
Crowned Man City's Player of the Season for 2008/2009, last year the 23-year-old had a torrid time, being frozen out by Mancini. Hence the rumour mill runs, and Ireland has been linked with a move to Goodison Park. While it has been suggested that the City boss may be willing to cut a deal with several swaps rumoured, Moyes will have stiff competition when it comes to Ireland, as he has also been linked with some of the big boys such as United and Merseyside rivals Liverpool. A new lease of life for the out-of-favour midfielder may be just what's needed. Reports suggest he could prove a steal with rumoured fees hovering around the £5 million mark.

Hatem Ben Arfa
Rumours surrounding the 23-year-old Marseille winger have been rife in recent months, with suggestions that managers including Blackburn's Sam Allardyce and Sir Alex Ferguson were ready to swoop. More recently Moyes has been shoved in to the frame, with hints that he may be on the verge of stumping up an estimated £10 million for the French international, in a bid to sure up his midfield.

Kevin Doyle
Having just managed to retain their Premiership status, Wolves may well be in with a chance of holding on to their main man; although reports suggest that Everton are in a battle with other heavy-weights to sign the £6.5 million Irishman, and he may well be tempted by the potential of European football.

Robbie Keane
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has hinted that Keane would be free to leave White Hart Lane, and several other clubs have expressed their interests in the striker. A move to Goodison Park seems however seems unlikely as Martin O'Neill is rumoured to have secured a provisional deal with the North London club as soon as Manchester City complete their signing of James Milner for and estimated £25 million.
