The TripAdvisor-owned travel site has released new data revealing the top seven destinations which have experienced the biggest spike in demand this year, with some surprising results.
Larne has seen a 138% year-on-year spike in the number of enquiries, making it one of the most searched-for Northern Ireland holiday spots of 2016.
Making up the top three, Ballymena in north Antrim saw a rise of 126.92%, while Ballynahinch, Co Down, saw a 100% hike.
The website's Jack Johnson said: "People have always loved visiting Northern Ireland. There's so much to see and do, from the busy streets of Belfast, to the natural beauty of the countryside.
"But this year travellers have got a real taste for some off-the-beaten track places too."
