Video: Tribute gig to mark the fifth anniversary of the death legendary Belfast guitarist Gary Moore

Well-known local guitarist 'Speedo' Ian Wilson is taking centre-stage in February for a gig to mark the fifth anniversary of the death of world-renowned Belfast-born rock guitarist Gary Moore.

Speedo is best known as a guitarist with local rockers Sweet Savage - who had Metallica record one of their songs, 'Killing Time'.

Former member Vivian Cambell has since gone on to find fame with Def Leppard.

For this Gary Moore tribute Speedo has 'Flash' Harry Hamilton - who has packed out auditoriums across NI with his Queen tribute show - on lead vocals.

Speedo said: "I just couldn't believe that last year nothing was done to celebrate our local guitar genius Gary Moore - so I wanted to do something about it. "

Harry added: "Gary Moore wasn't just a great guitarist, he was a great singer too, with a great range. A lot of people forget that."

The tribute gig is at Voodoo Belfast on February 6, 2016 - five years to the day that Gary Moore passed away.
