Heroin addict sentenced for causing Nottingham railway station fire

Heroin addict Gemma Peat, 34, has been jailed for two years and one month at Nottingham Crown Court after causing £5.6 million worth of damage to a railway station by starting a fire in a toilet block. The 34-year-old had been taking class A drugs in the toilets at Nottingham Station immediately before the fire - starting the blaze by exposing a naked flame to a sanitary bin on January 12 last year.
