Nigel Farage confronted on campaign trail in Cumbria

On a walkabout in Whitehaven, Cumbria, Mr Farage was confronted by a Labour voter Karl Connor, 38, from Egremont. Mr Connor told him: “We don’t need you coming here.” He accused him of trying to “profit from politics of fear”. After meeting Mr Connor, Mr Farage visited a chip shop in the town and a sweet shop.
