Over 150 local businesswomen attended the annual Action Cancer Ladies Business Lunch at the Europa Hotel, Belfast.
Zoe Salmon, Patron for Action Cancer said, “It ‘s just a really good opportunity for you know, us girls to get together, myself and Kim Constable doing a little bit of a chat today about fit leaders strive fit business, so it will be exciting to chat about that, and just to encourage all girls together just to be fit and to be active in business and of course it is for the great cause that is breast cancer awareness, so we hope to raise lots of money for that.”
Zoe Salmon was joined by Cate Conway from Q Radio and local entrepreneur Kim Constable on the panel.
Action Cancer is the only charity that provides breast screening in Northern Ireland for women aged 40-49 and 70 years plus.
To date, Action Cancer has raised over £37,000 with no government funding.
