Video: Aer Lingus employees suspected of 'smuggling immigrants into Ireland'

Two Aer Lingus employees were among three men arrested as part of an investigation into an international illegal immigrant smuggling network.

The network is understood to have been run through Dublin Airport. GardaĆ­ confirmed the arrested of the three men, aged 61, 56 and 28, in relation to the immigration offences.

The Garda Immigration Bureau were assisted by the Garda Special Detective Unit in the investigation.

The three men were arrested last night at Dublin Airport and are currently detained at Ballymun and Coolock Garda Stations.
