Alt-folk troubadour Ciaran Lavery, from Aghagallon, Co Antrim who plays at Glastonbury later this month and has been tipped for success by Hot Press and others for his “timeless songs of beauty and heartache”.
He has already got an impressive 14 million plays on Spotify of his debut album and EP ‘Not Nearly Dark’ and has won much critical acclaim for the release of ‘Sea Legs ’mini album.
A collaborative album with artist Ryan Vail, a Londonderry based electronic musician.
Talented Ciaran has a busy summer of festivals ahead with two sold out headline shows in London, Camp Bestival, Secret Garden Party and he has secured a spot at the famous Glastonbury festival as well as playing numerous dates across the UK, Europe and Ireland.
Ciaran was nominated Artist in residence at the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival and has supported bands such as The Staves, The Villagers and Stu Larsen.
If that wasn’t enough the young singer has been named amongst the top ten new artists at this years Great Escape Festival of new music in Brighton in a feature by award-winning Irish Blogger Nialler9.
His headline tour kicks off in the UK in October 2015 and his headline tour of Germany in November 2015 as well as an Irish tour with guests.
