Video: Animation shows possible path of Chilean Tsunami

An 8.2 magnitude earthquake triggered tsunami warnings for communities along the coast of Chile on April 1. The initial tsunami warning for Pacific nations was lifted shortly after the earthquake. There were reports of six-foot waves in the Chilean town of Pisagua, in the Tarapacá Region following the earthquake. This video animation from the US National Weather Service Pacific Tsunami Warning Center shows the simulated tsunami wave path for the 30 hours following the earthquake.
