Ards International Guitar Festival is getting the town in tune with a mix of brilliant local artists with a clever mix of international artists.
Newtownards will be alive with the sound of music with a variety of classical, jazz, rock, blues, folk and jazz bluegrass.
Tours of the Avalon guitar factory will provide an insight into the production line of the handcrafted guitar and guitar clinic that will give enthusiasts the opportunity to learn skills from the masters in an intimate environment.
Some of this years festival highlights include Irish classical guitarist John Feeley, jazz guitarist Hugh Buckley in conversation with Ronnie Greer, excellent young guitarists Will McNichol and Joseph Leighton and a trio of Sunday Songbirds Sarah McQuaid, Brigid O’Neill and Eilidh Patterson.
Ards guitar festival runs from 5 April to 9 April.
