
Great British bake Off finalist Andrew Smyth, on the cake he designed and presented to the Duke of Cambridge during a royal visit to Derby.
The former pupil of Sullivan Upper in Holywood, who now lives in Derby, is the son of former CBI Northern Ireland director Nigel Smyth.
William spent a couple of minutes chatting to Andrew, who works for Rolls-Royce, before heaping praise on the "incredible" cake. The Prince told the 25-year-old engineer: "I'm going to have words with Mary (Berry) - you should have won."
