Belfast School of Performing Arts (BSPA) search for talent across Ireland and Northern Ireland for Les Misérables Schools Edition, stage production.
With permission from Cameron Mackintosh, Ireland’s biggest theatre school are in search for the best talent to play the highly sought after roles of Valjean, Javert and Cosette, in this exciting production as the iconic musical marks its 30th year on stage.
Musical Director and Founder of BSPA, James Huish, said: “I am in no doubt that this audition process will be one of the most gruelling I’ve ever undertaken.
Ireland is filled with creative talent and I’m so excited to take BSPA on the road and see who we can find! Even if you have never been on the stage before but feel you have what it takes we want to see you at one of our open auditions.
This is a great opportunity for young people to take part in what is arguably the most recognisable stage production of our time.”
Auditions have been held in Belfast and Dublin, but the search for top talent continues in Galway on 23 January, Londonderry 24 January and Waterford on 30 January 2016.
A date will then be set for recalls in Belfast, to pick the best suited actors for the exciting roles.
Auditions are open to young people aged nine to 19-years-old and Les Misérables Schools Edition, will take place in August in The Grand Opera House, Belfast.
