Video: Belfast Telegraph Woman of the Year 2015 - Charleen Gordon, Woman of the Year in Education

The Belfast Telegraph Woman of the Year in Education is Charleen Gordon. Charleen Gordon is Acting Principal of Knockbreda High School – a school which has had its fair share of problems in recent years. However, Charleen’s typical commitment, drive and belief in the school’s staff and pupils has helped navigate the school away from closure. Nothing gives Charleen more pleasure than one of her pupils choosing to do a college course or apprenticeship. We’re told that Charlene works night and day and treats her pupils like they are her own children. We can add courage to Charlene’s list of attributes – Charlene does all this while coping with crippling arthritis. Credit: Belfast Telegraph
