Police investigating the murder of Colin Horner in Bangor on Sunday afternoon are appealing for information about a car which they believe was used by his killers to flee the scene.
The vehicle - a Red Ford Mondeo - had the registration number GKZ 7996.
But detectives believe the plates were false and that the car was also missing the driver's side hubcap.
The vehicle was seen speeding away from Sainsburys at Bangor's Balloo Link and was later found burned-out at Kerrs Road, between Bangor and Newtownards, close to Gransha Equestrian Centre.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle to get in touch.
They also believe the killers of the 35-year-old - who was shot dead in front of his three-year-old son in Sainsbury's car park - will have almost certainly needed to have fled the Kerrs Road area in another car.
