Video: Fashionable charity t-shirt raises awareness for Breast Cancer

A breast cancer diagnosis last year left Co Antrim mum Laura Parkinson in shock.

On Thursday Laura, along with Dungannon sisters Anita Mackey and Donna Ross from My Sister's Closet, launched her t-shirt that will help raise awareness for Breast Cancer in Northern Ireland and to help raise funds for two charities, Pretty n Pink and Breast Cancer Ireland.

Laura (35), who lives in Aghalee with husband Simon (35), a finance manager, and their six-year-old son Dan, will never forget the life-changing moment she was told she had breast cancer.

After the initial shock, though, Laura says she has found an inner strength which has helped her through the past 18 months.

Anita and Donna, of My Sister’s Closet Boutique and Fashion Blog, became good friends with local photographer, Laura Parkinson soon after Laura photographed Anitas’s wedding in the summer of 2016.

The gorgeous new T-shirt was inspired by Laura’s journey and supported by Donna and Anita’s expertise in fashion.

These stunning T-shirts are priced at £27 and available from My Sister’s Closet Boutique in Dungannon or online at www.mscthelabel.com. Funds raised from T-shirt sales will be split between Pretty n Pink and Breast Cancer Ireland. To order your T-Shirt please visit www.mscthelabel.com.
