Video: Food distributed to Syrian families sheltering in part-built houses


The World Food Program reports that Al-Ghazlanya, east of Damascus, is currently home to a large community of families displaced by the conflict. According to the organisation most of these families live in unfinished buildings, where they lack electricity, running water and other basics. Working with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the local community, WFP is providing food assistance to over 8,400 Syrian families.
