Funeral was held on Thursday for popular Methodist minister whose death has touched people across the religious divide.
Reverend Margaret Ferguson served as superintendent with the East Belfast Mission from 2014 until her death earlier this week at the Marie Curie hospice. Rev Ferguson answered the call to the religious life in 1998 after working as a school teacher and a businesswoman. She was a former president of the Holywood Chamber of Commerce.
Her work with children and young people transcended into her life as a minister and many of the projects she held close to her heart involved young people.
Prior to her role with the East Belfast Mission, Mrs Ferguson served for eight years on the Shankill Road, where she focused on making disciples and encouraged the church to engage with the community
