Video: HMS Caroline towed into dry dock for inspection and repairs

HMS Caroline moved from its moorings in Belfast for the first time in 32 years.

The last remaining vessel from the World War One Battle of Jutland gently eased from its Alexandra Dock home on Friday morning.

The 3,700-ton veteran light cruiser, sailed to Harland and Wolff Heavy Industries’ Belfast Dock for a scheduled hull inspection and repair.

The ship - the last surviving ship from The Battle of Jutland in World War One - will be returned to Alexandra Dock where she will remain until next year’s tourism season.
