Scrabo Tower, one of County Down's most familiar landmarks, has reopened.
The building closed its doors to the public in 2014 over health and safety fears, but following repairs and a successful trial last year the monument reopened on Friday.
Built in 1857, Scrabo Tower is one of the most familiar sights in Co Down, and the surrounding Country Park attracts around 200,000 visitors each year.
The site will be open at weekends, Friday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm, with last admission at 3.30pm. Entrance is £3 per adult, £2 for children and concessions.
