Video: Italian police escort personal car of Pope John Paul II through Rome

The personal car of Karol Wojtyla when he was still the bishop of Krakow was driven to Rome as thousands celebrated the man who would later become Pope John Paul II and canonised a saint on Sunday, April 27. Marek Schramm, the owner of the car, said that he took possession of the car by accident and only later discovered it belonged to Karol Wojtyla. The car is escorted through Rome by Italian police in the video here. Credit: YouTube/Italy State Police
