Video: Jude Law sends message of support for Foyle Film Festival screening of Noma (Forgiving Apartheid)

Oscar-nominated actor Jude Law has sent a video message of support for a powerful new documentary which will be screened at Foyle Film Festival in Derry on Thursday 19th November.

Directed by Derry born Sarah Townsend, Noma (Forgiving Apartheid) tells the story of Noma Dumezweni, who fled the apartheid regime in South Africa for the UK as a child with her mother in the 1970s and did not return to the country or see her political activist father for the next 30 years.

Noma became a UK citizen and grew up to become a highly acclaimed actress in London, winning a Laurence Olivier Award, working with the Royal Shakespeare Company and performing with Jude in his acclaimed West End production of Henry V.
