In incredible scenes, a CCTV video shows an unidentified man walking past an escalator and spotting something up above.
He looks up then decides to continue with his shopping when a young boy is suddenly seen falling from above.
Dropping his crisps, he leaps to the toddler’s rescue and — just — manages to catch him.
The video of the heroic act appeared on LiveLeak but details of where the incident happened are not known.
