Video: Northern Ireland boss Michael O'Neill - Jonny Evans fully focused despite transfer rumours

Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill will facilitate any big money move on transfer deadline day for Jonny Evans. West Brom captain Evans has been courted by Manchester City and Leicester City, while in the last few days struggling Arsenal have entered the fray to sign the centre-half from Newtownabbey.

Evans is on international duty with Northern Ireland and has been training all week at Manchester City's Etihad complex ahead of tomorrow night's World Cup qualifying match with San Marino in Serravalle.

Ahead of the transfer window slamming shut at 11pm tonight, O'Neill stated: "We will facilitate it in the best way possible should a club agree terms, but also the club need to do it in such a way that is least disruptive to us."

O’Neill continued: “We’re not in a position to turn around and say to a player, ‘He can’t leave, he can’t do that’. It’s his career that is at stake. If something does happen between now and the window closing, we’re fairly confident it won’t disrupt us too much.
