Video: NRA weighs into the US Midterms with pro-gun ads

The NRA has released a number of ads in the run up to the US midterm elections attacking candidates who support stricter gun regulations in the US. A routine move by the organization, the ads describe Sen. Kay Hagan (North Carolina) as part of Barack Obama’s “extreme anti-gun agenda” and Staci Appel (Iowa) as an aid to Micheal Bloomberg’s efforts to tighten gun control. Identical videos naming Patrick Henry Hays (Arkansas) and Rick Nolan (Minnesota) as supporters of Bloomberg were also released. In another release, the NRA publicly endorses Stewart Mills, who running against Nolan in Minnesota, labeling him as a “defender of second amendment rights”. Credit: YouTube/NRA
