The people of Northern Ireland are frustrated that the current Assembly has collapsed before failing to deliver on essential services.
Chris Lyttle, Alliance East Belfast MLA who is seeking re-election, was speaking at Stormont on the last day of the current Assembly prior to the election on March 2.
"We think people are frustrated. We have seen the collapse of the DUP/SF Executive.
"We have no budget and we have a wide range of issues which I think the people of NI want to see an Executive and Assembly functioning well, sharing power and delivering on.
