Video: Police concerned over gradual escalation of violence in east Belfast

Two police officers have been injured after disorder broke out in east Belfast for the fourth consecutive night. They were injured after being struck with masonry. One was treated in hospital for a head injury and later released. The second officer sustained an injury to his arm. Chief Superintendent Nigel Grimshaw said that local homes had been targeted. "Additional police resources have been deployed in the area in order to increase visibility and to act as a deterrent to individuals who may be considering orchestrating any attack."
