Video: Prince Edward attends a Duke of Edinburgh's award event at Belfast Royal Academy

On his second day of visits to Northern Ireland, HRH The Earl of Wessex attended a Duke of Edinburgh's award event at Belfast Royal Academy. There are over 400 pupils taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh event which makes Belfast's oldest academy the largest school-based award centre in Northern Ireland.

Headmaster Mr. Moore Dickson said: "We are delighted to have His Royal Highness visit our Academy today, the pupils are very excited and we have lots set out for him to see."

First Former Kerry Uprichard, 12-years-old, has been playing the harp for two years, she said: "I'm very nervous and when he (HRH) walks past I might play him a tune."
