Video: RAF Tornadoes depart Afghanistan

RAF Tornado jets from 31 Squadron left Afghanistan on November 11 after a five-year deployment. The squadron has a long history in the country, NATO said, beginning with a presence during the Third Anglo-Afghan War in 1919. The Tornadoes departed a Kandahar airfield early on November 11, en route to their base at RAF Marham via Cyprus. All British combat troops are intended to have left Afghanistan by the end of the year. Credit: YouTube/NATO
