Safety concerns have been expressed about a bonfire in the republican New Lodge area of north Belfast.
It is placed close to several large blocks of flats, a children's nursery and a number of homes.
Sinn Féin councillor JJ Magee said he had spoken to a number of residents who had asked him to get the materials moved.
He said the Grenfell Tower tragedy and the damage caused to windows of flats by an Eleventh Night bonfire near Belfast's Sandy Row showed the risks of fire.
Mr Magee said hundreds of pallets have already been removed from the area after being found stored on concerned householders' property.
