Video: Rocket attack on police in north Belfast was a 'cold blooded' attempt to kill

Police officers are 'extremely lucky to be alive' after an explosive projectile was fired at an armoured vehicle in north Belfast. Dissident republicans have been blamed for the incident, in which a home-made rocket launcher in believed to have been used. The device struck a Land Rover, causing damage to its outer skin but did not penetrate the inner armour. Superintendent Muir Clark said the officers in the vehicle escaped unharmed but were particularly shaken up. "They're extremely lucky to have come away with the lives", he said.
