Video: Scarva - Thousands descended on the idyllic village to watch King Billy and King James annual Sham Fight

An estimated 100,000 people converged on the Co Down village of Scarva on Wednesday for the traditional Sham Fight.

The event, which features the annual clash between King William and King James, is the biggest one-day family friendly day out in Northern Ireland.

Part of the financial backing for the Sham Fight has been provided by Tourism Ireland and Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Council.

Video screens and additional stage equipment were provided and a special marquee was set up to help visitors understand the history of the Royal Black Institution - the organisers of the event - and the Sham Fight.
