Sinn Fein's Leader at Stormont, Michelle O'Neill, has insisted that the Westminster election "is the most important election of a lifetime."
Speaking at the launch of her party's manifesto in Dungannon on Monday, she said:
"That is because it comes on the back of the March Assembly election which saw people re-engage with the ballot box in the highest numbers since the signing of the Good Friday Agreement in 1998.
"When the people came out and made it abundantly clear that they would not tolerate competence, financial scandal or crude bigotry in public office.
"They also made it clear that nothing short of equal partnership in government between nationalists and unionists is acceptable.
"Unfortunately that message has either not registered or is being ignored by senior DUP public representatives who continue, through the course of this campaign, to argue against these reasonable demands which have all been previously agreed.
"So they must hear that message loud and clear from the people on June 8."
