Video: Sir David Attenborough proves 90 isn't too old to get your hands dirty

Sir David Attenborough proved he was not too old to get his hands dirty as he planted a tree to mark his 90th year.

The veteran broadcaster, who celebrated his birthday in May, grabbed a spade and dug enthusiastically in front of a crowd of volunteers at the ceremony at Waterlow Park in Highgate, north London.

He told those watching that he did not want any criticism about his "skill with a spade", before stamping the earth around the newly planted elm tree, presented to him by community charity The Conservation Volunteers (TCV).
