Video: South Sudanese refugees flee to camps in Gambella, Ethiopia

According to Irish humanitarian organisation GOAL since violence broke out in South Sudan in mid-December 2013, thousands of people have been killed; about one million South Sudanese have been forced to flee their homes; 800,000 people have been displaced; and another 254,000 have fled to neighbouring countries, like Ethiopia. The organisation reports that: “There are currently 90,000 South Sudanese refugees in Ethiopia. It is estimated that up to 2,000 South Sudanese refugees are crossing into Ethiopia each day. The number of refugees is growing at such a rate the UN is predicting that Ethiopia will be hosting 200,000 by the end of 2014.” Credit: YouTube\GOALIreland
